About Bridge

Tax is the whole job.

Bridge Tax Advisors is a tax advisory firm based in South Windsor, Connecticut. It plans the tax side of the decisions that matter through the year, represents clients in IRS matters, and prepares returns with the same rigor. Much of that work is federal, so Bridge's clients are not limited to Connecticut. Bridge does not sell investments or manage wealth.

How Bridge works

One integrated tax firm.

Planning, IRS Resolution and tax preparation are parts of one tax practice, with the same advisors and the same standard of work across all three.

Before the decision, not after

Planning relationships work through the year, so the tax consequence of a decision is known while it can still change the outcome.

IRS Resolution, not a sideline

Bridge Resolution™ takes over contact with the IRS and works from the record, not estimates.

Systems that support the advisor

Every client receives the same standard of work as the firm grows, because the process is built into Bridge's systems.

Alongside your other advisors

Bridge works with your financial advisor, attorney and other professionals as the tax advisor in the room.

Your advisors

Senior advisors on every relationship.

You work directly with the people who advise you, from the first Tax Health Assessment™ through every Quarterly Review and every IRS matter. Bridge's systems make the work unusually thorough and consistent; the judgment is always an advisor's.Enrolled Agents hold the highest credential the IRS awards and have unlimited practice rights before the IRS.

Principal

Joel NowakowskiEA, MST, MBA

Joel built Bridge on a simple conviction: most tax outcomes are decided long before anyone looks at them.

His practice centers on year-round tax planning, including complex planning for high-net-worth individuals, families and the businesses they own. He designed the Bridge planning system that keeps that advice specific, documented and carried through the year.

He also represents clients before the IRS, where complex matters, including back taxes, liens, levies, garnishments and audits, are a substantial part of his work.

Senior Tax Advisor

Viktoriya ParkerEA

Viktoriya brings an Enrolled Agent's technical depth to the details that decide an outcome.

She handles the firm's complex individual, business and multi-state work, where one state's rules or one missing document can change the result, and she takes part in clients' planning reviews. Her focus is the analysis and documentation good advice depends on, so recommendations rest on facts rather than assumptions.
